Looks like he’ll win the nomination based on exit polls

Almost the entire slate of Bernie Sanders endorsed candidates are winning in New York.

Jamaal Bowman and Mondaire Jones for US Congress.
Jessica Ramos, Julia Salazar, Mike Ginaris, Jabari Bisport for New York Senate.
Ron Kim and Yuh Line-Niou for New York House.

Only Samelys Lopez (US Congress NY-15) is trailing and Matt Toporowski for Albany County DA is in a virtual tie with the incumbent DA (Matt is trailing by less than 50 votes).

Now im just hoping establishment dems put their weight behind this dude. McConnell needs to get out at all costs

he was a Yang-sponsored dem who's less libertarian-centric and far less technocratic than Yang. i don't think he's a perfect candidate and sometimes he veers a bit much toward intersectional stuff. i'd say he's like a mix of someone like Talib and Yang, but he's one of the few politicians ive seen who's willing to actually talk to people & listen to criticism, most of his campaign was talking to people over Skype/Zoom and just meeting people in coffee shops to talk about his policy. he's also not a party sycophant and has been trying to out that district's incumbent for awhile now.

Been alot of people going on about it online but the media has basically refused to cover this race. Haven't seen CNN mention Booker at all.

update on this, at 85% reporting Suraj is behind by about 1% but i think he'll win once absentee ballots are counted since they tend to skew towards progressive candidates over incumbents
