Pete is far from a safe beat. Evangelicals will come out in force against him due to his being gay. He isn’t doing well with minority voters, who he needs to get out in force, and will likely struggle with older voters across the board due to their homophobia. Outside of that element, his inexperience and boyish look will inevitably be used against him. I know Trump beat the “inexperienced” card, but in this race Trump would officially be the experienced candidate with statistics to boast about. Pete’s time as mayor does not look great. Pete would get completely washed in the general.

I was all aboard jumping on the "Biden's team is rigging this" train last night (or the Iowa DNC is rigging it FOR Biden so that he doesn't get hurt because of the results). Maybe it's legit that something happened but by all accounts, the votes are legit. And if they're not Bernie's people kept tallies so they'll be able to call them if it's BS.

Again, lets not forget that this has screwed Pete over big time. If the results were released last night he may have gotten a big enough bump to jump Biden in national polling or at least come close. That will not happen now.

He had devoted all of his resources and time into campaigning there. By all accounts he had a great ground game established there for months now. There were many polls showing him as the 2nd choice of many people there (which explains why he did well in re-alignments). So the lead-up to the caucuses definitely shows that he was clearly going to have a solid shot.

And no one else was a clear favorite (if the New Hampshire Primary would have been held instead it would be very surprising if Pete beat Bernie because Bernie is very favored there rn and same with Biden in South Carolina, but that was not the case in Iowa, most people that had been following it agreed that it was a 4 way race).

I really don't see what there is not to get. You lose credibility when you cry wolf without anything to back up your b****ing.
