because the democrats aren't a social democratic party, they're a right-wing liberal party and Bernie, centrist that he is, is too progressive for the rest of them

    Hey nice avy fam

  • Feb 16, 2020

also none of them are afraid he'll lose to trump lol. theyre afraid he will win, and theyll have to actually pay taxes and give working people some concessions for 4-8 years until the next right winger gets into office

    he is the favorite yes

Are you his supporter? As an outsider I honestly don't know too much, but I like him for being socialist even if a little bit

Oh damn. And is he still like favorite to win among them or is it close?

As of right now it’s close, but yeah. But there’s a strong chance he’ll get more votes than anyone but fail to secure the nomination, leading to a contested convention where the superdelegates come in play. The superdelegates are elected democratic officials (governors, senators, party officials) who can vote for whoever they want. They are mostly against Bernie tho, and will probably throw their weight behind someone like Bloomberg to prevent Bernie’s nomination

I support him because I live in America and I think he represents a realistic option for making people's lives better at least in the short term.

but in the end it won't matter because any meaningful reforms he makes will eventually be gutted once he's out of office

Like people get all up in arms about him wanting universal healthcare but I can't imagine what they'd do if any sort of attention was given to his plan to give workers 20% ownership of companies and allowing them to elect board members. theyd have strokes on live tv

I'm from one of the countries from former Yugoslavia, and a lot of us young ones are communists here because we hear stories from the old people who lived back in those times.

Unfortunately due to corruption and all the s*** going on here, we don't succeed much right now. But we keep believing, the truth is that all of the nations here have never lived better in history as they did in Yugoslavia (sorry for bad grammar lmao). I'm just trying to say, Yugoslavia was truly great and the nationalists created a mess after Tito's death, and here we are smh.

They say English is the hardest language to learn. I wouldn’t have thought anything of it if you didn’t say anything.
