The only thing Republicans and Democrats really have ever historically opposed eachother on are abortion and gun rights. Besides that they’re effectively the same thing

Damn Biden obliterated everyone in SC lmao

I don’t care about or support Joseph R Biden. But the man has consistently run on expanding Obamacare, this is a fact. Obama himself was a disappointment for a lot of progressives, but he still provided more public support programs for the poor than republicans like trump are arguing for. To say Biden wants to cut social services as bad as trump is disingenuous

biden's track record speaks for itself. he's a republican and worse than trump.

if dems pick him over bernie, they deserve to lose in a landslide.

Biden is definitely further right than the other democrats, but he’s not worse than trump

What about public school funding, tax rates, student tuition, net neutrality, death penalty, d*** legalization, healthcare, prison reform, gay marriage, or social security? I mean we can argue the democrats go far enough, or that both are as bad each other when it comes to foreign policy, but when it comes to domestic issues, one is clearly preferrable

Only fear i have about biden is that if he is elected we will get someone worse than trump after that.

  • Mar 1, 2020

Thats the whole reason im against electing rightwing democrats

  • Mar 1, 2020

I dont get this „people cant afford trump“ argument

What will biden change from trump? How will bidens election save anyone?

The only compelling argument is the supreme court one. But tbh im not even sure if biden won’t appoint republicans:/ but i agree tho.

imo it’s not even about bernie himself, it’s everything that can come after that, which if not bernie, literally has just as much chance as happening whether it be trump, biden, bloomberg, etc (aka, no chance)

that's what you think when you watch too much msnbc. that anything with a "d" next to it and even bush jr. is better than trump. real progressives who use their own brains know that none of those things are true.

i'll say it once again. bernie is, by far, the best candidate left. and only acceptable choice. voting for bloomberg, cia programmed robot buttigieg, or zombie biden is worse than voting trump. and deserving of a landslide defeat.

I don’t think bush jr is better than trump my guy. And yes, liberals are better than conservatives, doesn’t change the fact that Bernie is till better than all of them

isn’t it wild to think all the Trump voters thought they were truly anti establishment, and now we get an actual anti establishment candidate and it’s like pulling teeth to get people to wake up bc he isn’t doing funny quips or saying “drain the swamp!”

American politics has always been based on sound bytes and quips rather than substance. More people can name the same 3 quotes from like FDR and JFK than they can actually policy passed under most presidencies. Same rule applies to elections. People just vote for what phrases sound appealing they remember, not who has the best policy. Most people aren’t sitting down to study policy or what the government is actually doing half the time anyway until it bleeds into changing their daily lives

At the end of the day, if you don’t vote for the Dem nominee you’re giving Trump a lifetime Supreme Court appointment. At least one. So, congrats for being a shortsighted toddler
