Nope, that's why Donald Trump won fair and square. Bernie, Hillary and other democrats cried about how unfair this is, but that's not how politics works.

i mean yeah. the rules are bad but he won by them. its not the same thing as a primary which a party can more directly rig in their favor

But isn't Bernie getting that treatment right now from "his own" party? it's pretty obvious that democrats are trying to rig him from getting the nomination.

this his last real shot (him trying again in another 4 years would have people running with the “old” thing till he drops out,) and it’s hard to imagine him going back on his “blue no matter who” everyone vowed, but if he gets screwed again personally i want him to continue with this current election and just try to make the most of an independent race. even if he doesn’t win in that case it would hopefully spearhead more independent movements and make them actually viable outside Dem/Rep

Luckily, many voters have critical thinking skills.

Obviously, Bernie is the best candidate, but in all honesty, it’s just as likely that someone like Warren could enact just as much change in one term.

Electing Bernie would be a much more symbolic victory, but pragmatically, he isn’t going to accomplish any more than Warren could.

That’s kind of what I’m thinking. Dude is old as hell so realistically wouldn’t try again, he’s got a very supportive voter base to back him up, and if the nomination was given to Bloomberg who’s basically the antithesis to Bernie, then it would make sense and he could at the very least have the best showing since Ross Perot. I could see it being a pretty close election with nobody getting more than 40% if that panned out. No idea how the electoral college would look in that scenario.
