The rate is actually very high, What you mean is the total is low comparative to the world. It's just been confirmed today that 3.4% of confirmed cases have died so far.

It spreads faster than the flu. It's stronger than the flu. There's no vaccine for at least another 6 months. If it doesn't go away once the weather warms up it's not going away until the vaccine is ready. By then it could mutate and become stronger. It's already stronger and worse on people who get it a 2nd time. And worst of all, it's this big of a deal because countries were stupid and didn't do s*** until it was too late. It's easy to stop a virus from spreading across the whole f***ing planet. World leaders couldn't even prevent that.

Now the US is in a very bad spot with the CDC budget cut and emergency fund removal. It's going so bad that the CDC stopped showing the total number of tests done on their site. It's so bad that hospitals are still contacting the CDC for tests. So bad that meanwhile some countries are doing as high as 20k tests per day, the US had done 400 in total last time I checked but as I said, they don't disclose the number anymore.

Anyway, I'm not here to type an essay but it's bad and mostly because world leaders are just incompetent senile reetards caring about making an extra buck on everything.
