Damn this dude running circles around Synop and I support Bernie 💀

This is what happens when you live in an echo chamber, when you come out of it you're exposed.

While I believe Bernie has a better chance in a general than you seem to think, the “popularity on twitter” argument was absolute stupidity.

Also you are correct in that casual people view Bernie & Warren very similarly (despite the details of policy not being the same), which is mostly why she will probably be the nominee imo

They may as well be as far as public perception. The amount of people nitpicking Warren for capitalist leanings is insignificant.

They are both running on tackling the same problems in society, just in pretty slightly different ways.

Yeah but the media is mostly to blame for that public perception, considering their #1 goal is to not have Sanders win the primary.

The twitter thing is something you can use to point to the fact that AOC undoubtedly has a national appeal in the sense people know who she is. I would 100% bet on the fact that the uninformed voter or someone who doesn't really follow politics will know who AOC is before they know Kamala or Warren.

And as for everything else he said, it was either a misconstruing of a quote, or something with absolutely no data to back it up. Someone like that would be the same person to tell you Bernie was going to get swept in the 2016 primary because he had no appeal to anyone, then make up lies about how everyone is running on his platform now (if this were the case why are we spending countless time debating medicare for all lol?)

I'll put it simply. Once Biden's campaign implodes, it's going to be either Bernie or Warren. And if young people vote, it's going to be Bernie. That's really all there is to it. Polls will always undersell Bernie because his base by and large doesn't get polled. You can sit here and talk about "national appeal" and other unquantifiable concepts all you want, but an outsider with no national appeal doesn't come as close as he did to getting the nom in 2016 against a politician who at the time looked like a shoe-in for the presidency.

Why do you support the TCJA? How has it made your life better, or anything better for the working class

While I agree with the first half of your post I feel your second half is a large “if”. Young people might care enough to come out in droves but I have to see it first. I hope they do, dude in the WH is atrocious and needs to get beat.

I def think it’s Warren or Bernie (Biden is atrocious). I just feel the momentum is swinging her way. A lot of the “center left” seems to prefer her for obvious reasons. That is a little scary imo because I do not think she has as good a chance in a general.

Also Hillary was always a trash candidate, she had a machine behind her which cost Bernie but the “shoe-in” comment is a bit crazy imo because only delusional people thought Trump had no chance.

Uhm yeah, I literally said in my post that if young people vote. I didn't say they would. I said if.

And I'm not saying Hilary was literally a shoe-in candidate, just that thats what she was supposed to be, according to a lot of polls and a***ysts. But what happened in the primary? Bernie had a message that spoke to people across racial lines, and to the working class people.

In the general, her own incompetence and Trump lying to the American people, among other things, led to her losing.

As for Warren, once again, if young people and working class people vote, Sanders will win.

They don't highlight differences between the two policy wise at all. You don't see how it's convenient for them to keep up that narrative?

I understand what you said, I’m just emphasizing that’s a LARGE if.

Who cares what polls and a***ysts say lol. That s*** is not that accurate & a***ysts are paid employees.

And we’ll see. I’d take either at this point just need a win. Prefer Bernie. Hillary was all time bad which is hopefully the main reason Trump won. I think there’s quite a few people who just voted because he was “different” that may see the s***show for what it is now. Time will tell.
