And to answer your question, The youth or “woke” vote is the one that’s barely a constituency. The only people who actually get up and vote appear to be people who don’t want to fundamentally change the system. If everything’s trump and bush did hasn’t mobilized the youth to actually participate, then not much else can

generally i think its a bad idea to view politics in generational terms rather than class terms or other more material ways but theres no getting around how bad youth turnout is

my only point was that party leaders and donors clearly picked joe as the golden boy and had the others drop out. you can say it was inevitable (and i would probly be inclined to agree) but theres no denying it was a coordinated move.
