    Why put inexperienced in quotes?

Not sure woman of color identity politics is helping Bernie with black voters so far

well i mean bc it’s all relative, trump was elected after all

and i wouldn’t call it identity politics necessarily either as he’s advocated this since the beginning - i mean more in the tactical sense as biden will be doing it here shortly so it’s important to get ahead of that

do we think Nina Turner is too wild card for the general american public or just the spice bernie needs in the forefront to help inspire key demographics when thrust on the super-public stage

Turner offers him pretty much nothing. She isn’t just inexperienced... All of her experience on the national stage pretty much comes from being a Bernie cheerleader.

Nobody is going to vote for an 80 year old with recent heart trouble knowing that Nina Turner is next in line.

She doesn’t even offer anything exciting to the ticket. It would just be doubling down on an appeal to Bernie’s core base.

Why is there no debate before March 10th? Can someone rationally explain this?

it’s gonna be very dependent on how bernie can control the stage in regards to how the “debate” is orchestrated, but i’m confident

I honestly wouldn’t hate Warren, but I think she still has the same issue as far as not being super exciting to people outside of Bernie’s base.

i don’t really remember if there has ever really been but i think it’s bc only like 3 states “matter” so they think it’s not as consequential as the next primaries after, despite being p important in this particular race

yeah i feel like warren has dashed the clout of even her endorsement at this point, but bernie is definitely handicapped by only getting to choose from a far smaller pool of VP when compared wit biden. outside of yeah barbara lee, which can sort of draw the same push back nina could, idrk who else would be a direct benefit as opposed to a slight advantage

They weren’t expecting so many candidates to stick around for so long. The last three STs, it had already cleanly been down to 2 candidates or Obama was the incumbent, and we had already got to see them head to head beforehand.

i see what you getting at but i don’t really see how this would drastically sway otherwise trump voters or why she would necessarily get on board with him having yet to defend her regarding the debate, even

Her baggage is manufactured nonsense, lol. She is still unknown to the majority of the electorate. She has all the qualities that would ease the fears of people concerned about Bernie's age and identity.

She's a poised woman of color who is also a United States veteran.

It isn't about swaying hardcore Trump votes...just those in the middle who have modest concerns about Bernie.

Nina hasn’t seemingly brought in any black votes and pissed educated whites off by calling Liz a fake so I’m not sure what she offers but Ls

idk if i feel like if that’s the goal those same voting base would unearth her videos wit slight conservative context or discourse and couple that wit the fact she did not vote to impeach trump and run with it

Shouldn’t be any VP talk for Bernie when he’s down in polls in one of the most progressive states in the country

It isn’t nonsense at all. All they’d have to do is hit her on SoI, which she still has ties to, or bring up the ties to shady pro-Assad groups. Even if she can explain her reasoning for visiting Syria, it was facilitated in a pretty sketchy way.

She has also openly courted anti-Muslim Hindu nationalists in India and was supported primarily by the military industrial complex for years.

It is inviting a trove of negative press into the campaign just to bring in a VP that is mostly unknown, and generally hated by those that do know her. Even her own constituents don’t want her.
