Indeed. It looks like he is slipping already by the actions of today. But chances are slim unfortunately

who is really doing this? if anything i’d blame warren for splitting the “movement” from the jump and then shifting that base away from (allegedly) the ideas and policies they believed in. i think that has been very detrimental but i don’t think at the point we were at that she was siphoning THAT much directly from would-be sanders voters

Nobody is really talking about Yang at all tbh

Warren, people have been absolutely s***ting on since before the primary, and people have continued to pile on and say she betrayed her progressive values by staying in as long as she did to split the vote. I have heard this presented as “proof” of rigging the election.

if he physically puts hands on a voter it’s done, and he’s gotten damn near close recently, but now i’m sure they got his handlers doing overtime smh

Warren is the kind of politician mlk was warning us about

  • Don’t be sad. Organize. The movements that fueled the Sanders campaign don’t depend on any politician and they worship no electoral savior.

i don’t hold to that belief but i would say she betrayed her progressive values, for all to see (but not care about 🙄) by betraying her progressive values - she ended her campaign by taking the most money from a superpac of any candidate, despite being staunchly against it her whole campaign, but since she’s mama warren now her supporters prolly see nothing wrong with that and consider that sort of s*** now as “progressive”

for no other reason, vote Joe to keep the supreme court. If we lose that, it doesn't matter waht progessive canidate we support in 2024

i aint gone lie, this is a compelling reason. i'm liable to sit out if it's biden v trump.

i think the support for biden comes from the fact he'll only go for one term. meaning whoever wins this year leaves 2024 up for grabs. plus the biden vp murmurs from months ago

Yeah, If Yang got a cabinet position, he could boost his name recognition and experience and would be in a much better position to try running again in 24.

If you see Elizabeth Warren as an enemy of progressive values, you’re an ideologue, no two ways around it.

The fight should really go to all 50 states. Everyone should be able to vote. He will win Idaho, ND and Washington mark my words. He will not drop out. Biden speaks like he already won, he might be more open to talks now and will ruin himself one way or the other.

lol shut the f*** up forever

  • Mar 11, 2020

basically warren gave a face to these “centrists” right of progressive politics and left of neoliberal democrats and peddled the belief that that was a legitimate stance warranting it’s own movement - even tho we already know there’s an innate desire to role play as being progressive when in reality, not being so in the issues that matter most.

but since we know the cards already stacked by neoliberal establishment, her supporters got to pat themselves on the back for an entire campaign cycle and still leave at the end of the day thinking they are “progressive” - while then at the end actively backing the people against that movement.

  • Mar 11, 2020

this is the gonna be the guy huh
    lmao

this what biden gonna look like after the first debate with trump

  • Mar 11, 2020

so i do worry she’s done her best (whether intentionally or not) to water down a legitimate movement and co opt it’s beliefs, but i don’t think she had as drastic an effect on this particular election then she possibly has had in the big picture

  • Mar 11, 2020

Okay maybe warren attacks the progressive candidate and promotes the conservative candidate and maybe she is taking bribes but she’s a progressive!!
