god the dems are such a pathetic corporatist party. They’ve catered so long to managerial class
Obviously republicans will always be fash light and would never support things 15 min wage or gnd but i can see some more action on tax benefits for families, children etc, some raised taxes on some higher brackets and aggressive messaging on being for “the little man” and the dems would be f***ed forever, such a sad party

They won’t. These bailouts are just emergency measures. On top of that, the democrats will remain more left economically than the republicans so it’s not like people are going to have that much of an incentive to actually switch parties

True, but these measures are only for the crisis. When it blows over, the republicans are going back to normal, and if it doesn’t blow over, then the country will collectively blame the current administration for it and automatically vote for the other guy
