He got too cocky and thought he would win after the first few contests, only explanation for why he didn't go at Biden harder early on

the BIGGEST miscalculation of their plan was thinking ppl wouldn’t drop before ST and back a single candidate (whether that had been pete, biden, warren or bloomberg)

otherwise this would’ve been in the bag and won, mathematically and narrative wise

I don't think it was cockiness. It was underestimating Biden. His attacks were always driven by media narrative. The media pushed Kamala, Pete, Amy, etc...so he focused on them. Then he had to deal with Bloomberg.

Biden was the one he should have focused on early on. The people didn't buy the media pushing for these no name candidates. They were a waste of time and resources in hindsight.

I don’t remember bernie attacking any of them besides Pete as much as Biden. The truth is, as long as Biden was in the race and won South Carolina, there really wasn’t anything bernie could’ve done to stop him. The only thing would have been if South Carolina was switched out for a state like Arizona, which would’ve blunted Biden’s momentum, allowed Pete and klobuchar to stay in, and have Bernie remain the frontrunner

Maybe not Bernie personally, but his surrogates focused on everybody else except Biden early on.

His surrogates (except maybe AOC) did not help his case at all, they just annoyed people online lol. Most people who are voting for him are supporting him specifically

we gotta pray after this race it shows chiefly ppl were supporting him for policy rather than him as a person, tho

Don’t want to turn this in a conspiracy thread but y’all seen that digital certification thing bill gates was talking bout?

Nah, even though a lot of young people were supporting his policies, especially in regards to healthcare and education, I think the main reason people were supporting him was his character. He’s one of the most likable, consistent people who seems to really care about what he’s talking about. Compare with someone like AOC, who, despite having a similar platform, is nowhere near as admired. The farthest left America is going is Pete’s policies coming from Kamalas campaign

Crazy how everyone thought we were headed into a race full of progressive allies running, when in reality it turns out a large majority of them are political grifters and opportunists

If Trump can't stop the impending recession he will lose in November, that is if outbreak ends in time for the election to even take place.

  • Mar 19, 2020

In the freak scenario where the election is cancelled due to the COVID-19 outbreak and doesn't take place before January, all of the House of Representatives' terms will expire on January 3rd, Trump's term will expire on January 20th and his entire administration would as well. 29 incumbent Senators' terms will expire on January 3rd and 4 other Senate seats will remain vacant due to retirements.

This means Senator Pat Leahy of Vermont, who would be President Pro-Temp of the Senate following Chuck Grassley's term expiring, would become President on January 20th.

This either means Bernie is gearing to end his campaign or thinks Gabbard's endorsement is so toxic that it will....what? Hurt his already slim chances of winning?
