Between him being weed carrier status when they had the years of elite forwards and his name being Anton, Watson just doesn’t seem elite to me
I see why nba purists don’t enjoy CBB when I watch this game
Some of the lowest IQ I’ve seen lol
Still surreal this kid is playing
s/o to their medical staff, modern medicine, etc etc
Being completely out of rhythm for half of the second with the projected #1 PG and a 6 year guard is insane to me lol

They forcing it for no reason. Let him come back next season with a better squad, new coach.
This whole Bronny narrative has been forced

I guess it would depend on who you mean by they and what you would define as forced
The hype was pretty reasonable coming into the previous summer - the highest he was mocked was 10th and people were saying Collier was the real star on the team
I guess I'd have to see where you're coming from there first
From the USC perspective, they legitimately need him out there lol
the team defense stinks and he should be a pretty valuable connector piece, if his offensive aggression trends up. That being said, I still feel a bit icky about trying to get a kid that's coming off cardiac arrest 5 months ago to be the mini-Draymond gear that gets your team going

Forced meaning him needing to be drafted to NBA next year to play with his dad. The kid is not that good and is not a winner.
And I really hope you mean 10th best guard in the city and not a 10th overall draft pick. That is completely bonkers
in a set of NET rankings that predate the games from today, USC was ranked 3 spots lower than the UC Irvine team they lost to earlier and just lost at home to 141st Long Beach
so they should reasonably plummet to the 80s-90s area I would imagine. And that's with coming off a top 5 class.......

I don't know Los Angeles high school basketball like that, so I can't comment there.
it was further back than I thought, but Givony had him there in February espn.com/nba/insider/insider/story/_/id/35707557/2024-nba-mock-draft-why-bronny-james-projected-top-10-pick
SB had him at 13th back in the summer though sbnation.com/nba/2023/6/23/23767228/nba-mock-draft-2024-bronny-james-potential-ron-holland-matas-buzelis
it's a pretty poop draft, and one that (at least one time) seemed pretty devoid of great point guard options, so I understand why some people might've had him high up there
it's funny, I don't think that SB link even had Topic in their first round and now he's pretty much a consensus top 5 guy lol

When that heart episode happened to Keyontae Johnson, it took almost 2 year from him to ball in 100% form. I'm not expecting Bronny to be a draft pick anytime soon

Nobody at that organization has any idea what they're doing
Sarr at 12, no Bub Carrington or Tidjane Salaun (better than Risacher)
And that's only the tip of the iceberg

I mean he'd definitely be a draft pick just based off of the high school tape, the tickets you'd sell and the potential (dudes do legitimately love connector pieces, word to Andre Jackson), but yeah I would be surprised at a first round pick at this point
