Forced meaning him needing to be drafted to NBA next year to play with his dad. The kid is not that good and is not a winner.

And I really hope you mean 10th best guard in the city and not a 10th overall draft pick. That is completely bonkers

The kid is not that good and is not a winner.

    F*** is you talking about

I’ve heard the take bc I also post on the coli, which are these dudes with super aggressive sports takes and a general rub against modern basketball players, but I think people are conflating the media’s desire to gas Bronny (for obvious reasons) with actual basketball a***ysis on Bronny

The latter has been pretty reasoned and objective from what I’ve seen. He’s basically been perceived as having a ceiling of Bucks Jrue and has been posed as a high floor, low ceiling multi year collegiate player. That’s why I asked him who his ire was drawn at, bc the hyperbolic a***ysis he’s referring is much different than that

When that heart episode happened to Keyontae Johnson, it took almost 2 year from him to ball in 100% form. I'm not expecting Bronny to be a draft pick anytime soon

    Bronny ≠ Keynote

    2 vastly different players

I could see first round if we really see him show a reasonable upgrade of what he last showed in HS

I think that lottery is possible after his sophomore year though

He was around pros in highschool, he showcased great talent in the areas that I referenced

Everything really depends on his health and the way this season goes, but I think if he plays consistently through the rest of the year and a larger role I think this is the only USC year we get. Next year would be a better bet though

I think you’re underrating the talent in the middle of this draft bro but we’ll see! It’s not impossible sir

    Different in terms of what?

    Age and play style

Bronny a better defender and passer than Keynote at this point in their careers

Bronny also had a lot more medical help, as one of his teammates went through the same medical emergency he did so their staff was more prepared and he went to the Mayo Clinic

I’m talking about kids that are top 10 or 15 draft picks have won things like Mr California, State championship, have taken their team to the NCAA final for the first time, have averaged a good amount of points/assists/rebounds, have broken records, are extremely talented, etc. etc.

When people watch Bronny, what makes them think this guy is that?

I was looking at it from the view that when Johnson collapsed he was 19, Bronny was 18. Both are/were 6’4”, both are explosive, both are/were playing for big time basketball programs

And I think that's where a lot of the differences are

Keyontae more explosive, and his heart condition was about the enlargement of his heart. Bronny just went into Cardiac Arrest, and the whole Mayo Clinic part

They did seem to view the defect Bronny had as pretty being minor (relatively speaking)

  • If POOsc is a real NCAA tourney team with the introduction of Bronny, he honestly may need to be a lottery guy. These dudes f***ing stink
