Almost time to riot

I was just about to post this.

I’d be curious what other people’s thoughts are — my initial thought was “wow how has this issue gone so under the radar when thinking about the ways in which the Trump gov could affect the mid terms?” I feel like most of the anxiety surrounding it had been thinking that they would somehow send troops in, or collect ballots, or declare an emergency, or collect voter rolls. But weaponizing the usps has surprisingly been not discussed much

But as I thought about it more, I do kind of feel like — worst case scenario let’s say they get away with this fully (which is a big IF, I don’t know that judges will let this stand in full), most mail voters are VERY tuned in politically, so I do think there’s a good chance that they get the message and vote in person this year

Bad news: the GOP average on the generic ballot has somehow ticked up this week? It’s barely and I have no idea why so it could just be noise, but you would like to see nothing but Dem movement at this point, so it’s not great

Good news: gas prices are up 10 cents on average nationally this week, which is pretty crazy when they were already over $4 a gallon. If you’re not rooting for sky high gas prices over the next two months you’re doing it wrong, because that’s really all that seems to wake up brain dead American voters
