The interesting part of this statement is, the same people 21 is referring to would treat a Drake feature like a winning lottery ticket.
Just cause they don't listen, that doesn't mean they're oblivious to his influence and power

They listen. I don't know why he had to phrase things so terribly to get his point across. Hood niggas listen to Drake, too. They may listen to niggas from where they are a lot more but it doesn't mean that they don't listen to Drake at all. That's just cap. He pointed to the clubs like Drake songs don't get played like crazy in clubs all over the U.S. If you go to clubs or listen to the radio anywhere in the U.S., you can't escape Drake.

I get what he was trying to say but his tone came off like he was slick dissing Drake.

  • Sep 28, 2021

What 21 said is true lol and it’s not a big deal.

  • Sep 28, 2021

This is why Drake giving out features to street rappers is mutually beneficial

  • RenBop

This is vague , me being in Atlanta a lot of folk listen to these guys . It’s just more love given to people born and raised here obviously but it’s not like these niggas don’t get play. Especially drake

This is what 21 was talking about. Regional Bias does exist but of course ppl on here took it to wrongly

Yeah, that statement is cap when Drake is literally everywhere and tapping into everything.

Not surprising, if you google who his uncle is you’d understand

U one of my favorite posters rn lmao. Funny as s***

It's entirely cap. He had to s*** on hood niggas and basically them stupid to make his point when none of that was necessary. Drake has several joints that ring off in the hood. That's a super fact. Don't know why he had to act like Drake makes bubblegum pop music and so niggas from the streets couldn't listen to that.

It’s not cap at all. What he’s saying is the same energy as what Future said when NWTS dropped and people got all upset

“In a recent interview with Billboard Future described his upcoming project, which he explains will be an upgrade in "emotion" from Drake's album Nothing Was The Same. "Honest isn't only about love, but 'about showing emotion,'" he says. "Drake made an album that is full of hits but it doesn't grab you. They're not possessive; they don't make you feel the way I do. I want to make you want to fall in love."”

How was that not offensive? He hadn't even heard Drake's album to know what kind of music it had to make that kind of dumb statement.

Yeah, Drake has been in touch with the hood/underground for a very long time now. Hes specifically made songs that tap into that frequency. 21 has no idea what hes saying to certain extent

I get the point he's trying to get across but Drake is the wrong person to use to make that example and his energy in the clip is weird as hell. He seemed hella dismissive as he was making his point. Whatever, man.
