Bro I’ve seen 40-year-olds in some of my classes and I go to a state university
60-70 year olds too lol
Oh my god
1.NIGGA 22 IS YOUNG AS F***
2.NEVER LET YOUR AGE LIMIT YOU IN WHAT YOU WANT TO DO!
3.Figure our what your passionate about and pursue it. I know it’s cliche as f*** but it’s so true. That passion will get you through the grind, when everything isn’t going your way the passion will be the reason you don’t give up.
I’m telling you my nigga ya life JUST STARTED go be who ever the f*** you wanna be.
If that starts with school then go to school and go for whatever you want don’t f***in settle FOR NOTHING. You only got so much time here on earth b don’t spend it settling and wondering about what could’ve been.
If you think college is full of 18-22 year olds you are wrong.
While maybe ~60% of it is, there are plenty of people in their late 20s and some that are even older than that.
Also nobody cares if you're old and going to college, people go there to better themselves.
Niggas got me heated talking about settling for some s***
NIGGA LIVE YOUR LIFE TO THE MAX, BC ONE DAY THE LIFE IN YOU IS GONNA BE GONE
Age doesn't matter OP. Don't compare yourself to others.
Community college is always a good starting point because it's far cheaper and you can have an easier time deciding on your major after talking to an advisor.
I would avoid going into debt if possible.
The world is incredibly unstable and might begin to rapidly collapse in 1-3 decades.
My advice would be to cultivate close relationships, do whatever makes you happy, and diversify your interests and abilities.

I feel you OP very deeply
Took a yr off from highschool then when i started last fall switched majors after the first semester
Im going on 20 in a couple months now and basically a first year so i feel you but the thing is u cant let this bother you. Life move different for all of us. If I compare how I was when I was 17 or even 18 when i did start and now as a 19 yr old i can confidently say i would have done very poorly. I had no outline, plan etc. I was a smart kid in HS but college is more than being smart. Now i hv a General idea what i want to do, what sort if gpa i need, wha sort of program i need. What my strengths. Rather than BS it in a random degree if I was 17 and finishing with a 3.1 gpa or something
College is full of 17-30+ yr olds man
It still bothers me sometimes but a lot of the anxiety comes from when yr not in it, once we start progressing on tht degree it wnt matter the slightest
I went to uni with people in their late 30's who had 3 kids. If you have a goal you want to reach you should go for it. Doing nothing for sure isn't gonna get you there. And I'd go for a bachelors.
I want to do IT, specifically web development.
I would probably try to learn a skill that has value in the market ,versus enrolling in college if I was in your position.
You can also be a web-dev without a degree. I won’t say it’s easy , but it’s definitely doable.

Build up a portfolio and go for a bachelor
i wish starting college at an older age was more normalized
i had no clue what tf i was getting into when i started school at age 18 and if i started later i would’ve been in a way better spot than i am now. had to graduate with a super general degree and currently sitting around with no idea what to do with my life
youre in a good position to start off with a clear direction and focus as a grown adult. you got it man
Full law training takes like 8 - 13 years in Germany
5-7 years degree
2 years mandatory traineeship
2-3 years doctorate
1 year LL.M abroad
Im gonna be 28 to 32 when im finished with everything
22 is young these days we aint in the 1950s

Good point. College is almost pointless if you don't network. Even if its just hanging around some professors' office hours
