Yeah I mean that’s an easy comparison to make due to the subject manner. But character wise not at all. Aaron’s character is not the mysterious quiet type. He cheats, he drinks, he lies, he gets cocky not realizing he’s close to getting killed lol. And the ending sets up Bone Temple to be unhinged as f*** with the next characters.

Tbh some of the editing and visuals was so jarring that I was mostly focused on that

I kind of enjoyed this movie but there was definitely some absurdness I wasn’t expecting

Some of the scenes were stellar
the water bridge scene amazing || but the mix of || scenes from war, arrow shooting, etc was a weird choice

I don't get it, if they mean the tracksuit ninjas then I get it cause those were a bit odd considering the rest of the movie, but the mom dying thing was expected lmao, she wasn't getting cured anyways without any equipment or medicine. I'd get it if people were mad if they didn't conclude the story and left it on some cliffhanger but I feel like it was a proper conclusion to his journey in the movie.
