I don't get it, if they mean the tracksuit ninjas then I get it cause those were a bit odd considering the rest of the movie, but the mom dying thing was expected lmao, she wasn't getting cured anyways without any equipment or medicine. I'd get it if people were mad if they didn't conclude the story and left it on some cliffhanger but I feel like it was a proper conclusion to his journey in the movie.
I assumed they dislike the tracksuit cult. Idk I thought it was dope and intriguing as f\*\*\* lol
But some people were saying it does some extremely unique things though lol.. opinions for this are all over the place lol
I guess the setting is unique, you don't usually see a zombie movie which is not about trying to save yourself in some way or trying to find a cure for it. The movie is just a drama about the boy's journey to save his mother which just happens to be set in a world of zombies. But overall, as I said, after TLOU I feel like the apocalyptic thing having a solid emotion core isn't as unique. Even though I know 28 days later was the original one behind that but I guess TLOU perfected it.
This movie shined bright in the action / suspense sequences
But I felt like the rest was rather boring tbh

Yeah, I didn't even consider it THE end though. Just a post credits scene tacked on before the credits for convenience. I guess it's cause most people don't know a sequel is coming next year.
Is it confirmed if Aaron and Jack O’Donnell will be in the next movie?
If I’m understanding correctly, 28 days was it’s on movie, 28 weeks was it’s on movie and 28 years will be a 3-part trilogy with these set of characters?
I think the director on reddit said they're all standalone essentially, it's just Spike that will continue across them but they will work as both a trilogy and a standalone movie.
He also said the character of Jim is gonna be the central theme throughout in a different comment.
I felt bad for the Swedish dude, bro wasn't wrong. As far as I'm concerned that baby was just waiting to turn into a zombie :kevinwd2:
Forgot we’re getting a direct sequel to this next year lol. So it’s essentially a 2 parter.

I feel like that would be Tarantino’s approach to a zombie or horror film. Where it’s like these characters exist in this world but they are on a journey that isn’t related to the zombies, the zombies are more so just an obstacle making the world dangerous.

Jim as in Cillian or Jimmy?

Also I’m wondering if the Wiki page is wrong with the cast they have listed?
yea this was good
crine at that parkour ass ending tho
when does the next one drop? has it already been filmed?
Bro fix ur spoilers wtf!
amazing performance by Jodie Comer, unsurprisingly
Ralph being basically the complete opposite of what you’d think based on the trailer was pretty awesome too.

Garland and Boyle are both operating on such higher and bolder levels than they were on the first, it’s fun comparing this with Days.

Think he meant Jimmy though
Lol bro confusing me
I kind of enjoyed this movie but there was definitely some absurdness I wasn’t expecting
Some of the scenes were stellar
the water bridge scene amazing || but the mix of || scenes from war, arrow shooting, etc was a weird choice
Also the zombie baby and tracksuit mafia at the end :koolaid:
Not sure what to expect on the rest of the trilogy
Think the medieval movie footage was to sort of depict a kind of cultural regression of Britain
Amazing
Y’all ever watch in the DBox at Cjnemark? Got the chairs that move around and vibrate and s***.
Was pretty cool to watch this movie in one lol. Almost felt like someone was kicking my chair at points tho
