Let's see...I thought the human stuff worked really well, which is no surprise given Danny Boyle is back in the director's chair. The climactic moment was really touching, however I couldn't help but shake the thought of, "This kid didn't listen to what he was told and now his mom is dead because of it." At a certain point both him and his mom started to pmo a bit. They were almost too naive and incompetent.
As for the zombies, well, I've got some issues there. A lot of the lore of the movie just doesn't seem to fit with the previous two films. In 28 Weeks, all the infected starved to death in like 6 months but now they're still around 28 years later without much of an explanation? Unless I missed something. Is it just because of the new Rage virus that happens in the second film? Secondly, did this franchise really need different classes of zombies? It just doesn't feel congruous with the grounded world of the first film.
I actually forgot there's going to be a sequel soon to follow until f***ing Remmick showed up at the end with his band of zombie-fighting tracksuit ninjas. I'm pretty excited about that next movie now because it looks like it's going to be nuts.
Overall, I would say it's good, not great. Had a fun time. Unfortunately, it's starting to feel like it's the year of good, not great at the movies. I'm begging some more titles to join Sinners up there at the top.

Lmao ever since I seen them in the trailer I dead ass thought it looked like a Buddha statue not even trying to be funny
saw this hours ago with my gf pretty solid film a slow burner but picks up once they hit the mainland||. the characters were solid for the most part i liked that danny boyle kept that indie documentary art style that 28 days later had ||i liked that double kill shot havent seen that in a movie before. overall solid film the ending was bizarre as hell but i'd give 7.5/10. i'll check out the next film next year.
how are the jumpscares!!
I don't remember any. Super mild if there were any cause nothing comes to mind.
Damn 28 Weeks kinda sucks
on god I nearly turned it off when zombie Robert Carlyle just turned up to chase his kids on THE OTHER F\*\*\*ING SIDE OF LONDON
some of it was so dumb I was waiting for it to be a dream sequence
Something I haven’t really seen people mention is this was really funny at times . Especially that one navy solider , bro just kept yapping
