This video is old news ofc but Pac talks about the Ready To Die situation among other things and goes into detail into why he had issues with Biggie, which is separate from the Suge/Puffy drama that was happening at the same time.

Some of this stuff is known af (like the Quad Shooting stuff) but the key things he said I wasn't hip to until recent.

This interview validates the old KTT thread that claimed Bad Boy deliberately bit off West Coast artists (Dre Dog) beats to use for RTD.

• Was upset Biggie wasn't honest about who shot him. Told Biggje to meet him in Jail to talk, Biggie never came to see him but shouted him out on radio.

• Says most of the NY Rappers were around when he got shot and kept their silence, which he felt was wrong bc he would've set up a conversation and a mediation if they had went through something on the West Coast, names a time he got Treach from Naughty By Nature out of trouble with LA Gangsters.

• Pac used to let Biggie open for him in New York before he blew up. Pac says he "trained" Biggie and he was like Pac's Lieutenant. Taught Biggie to make songs for Women to sell records.

• Biggie was supposed to be a part of Pac's Thug Life group bc he wasn't happy with his relationship with Bad Boy. Pac knew Biggie switched up when Ready to Die came out and he didn't shout out Thug Life. Says Biggie said "Fuck Brooklyn, F*** NY, I ain't with Puffy cheating me".

• There was a KTT Thread years back where posters claimed Biggie bit the West Coast sound for Ready To Die. 2Pac confirms the entire sound and theme of death for the album was Pac's original idea for Me Against The World that Biggie stole. The MATW that came out to the public is the 2nd version.

Pac was outselling Bad Boy in general during his Death Row era so he really didn't need any more clout than he got.

Pac is a Gemini like Kanye, just as passionate but more grounded in reality and very big on loyalty. Pac is a lot of things but he never just said things or told events that never happened.

If y'all ever listen to Scarface's first three albums and then listen to Ready to Die you'll hear Biggie using Scarface's flow throughout most of it.

S***, it might be safe to say that the concept for Ready to Die actually came from Scarface's album The Diary.

I love Biggie, but once you learn more about Scarface, BIG looks a lil different in the light. As for Tupac, infact in regards to the West Coast for the most part, Houston played a pivotal role in the development of the sound that Tupac and even Ice Cube were on.
