well said about the third point
seems like the cracker jacks were cool with all the hip-hop stuff until black people started speaking out about their problems in america, now they wanna bring back lynching picnics in their suburban hickvilles
I say this as a white/Hispanic man: white culture is inherently selfish and the minute it becomes even slightly inconvenient to support our brothers and sisters of any nonwhite group against brutality that doesn’t necessarily affect them, you’ll see the most IG woke person suddenly go silent. The protests in 2020 were a huge litmus test - post those black squares in public, but wring your hands about damaged property and fear of violence in the company of those you think won’t call you on it.
Couple that with a huge sect of the population feeling REALLY inconvenienced by those damn minorities invading their homogeneous cultural spaces and an elite class egging them on for their own self interest and you get clowns like Aldean winking while they dare you to become the next name to be chanted. F***ing disgusting culture and people.
Does Country artists also have clout chasing journos like Nojumper, AK? and do they also have fan pages called CountryTV?
I doubt it. The biggest country acts just make music and you don't really hear from them outside of that. Nothing to clout chase.
You guys ever listen to Colter Wall? That guy sounds like he’s straight out of the 50s, really haunting voice. One of the few real country acts going right now.
damn u weren't joking

You’d never guess how he sounds by looking at him. He sounds like he smokes a pack of unfiltered cigarettes every 15 minutes and just retired from working at the saloon in 1856.

Hip Hop and Pop have to make up personalities and gimmicks to get people interested. It’s kinda like WWE

Even better is that he barely does any interviews because he’s a really private guy, and when he’s not touring he’s working on his ranch in Saskatchewan. I love this guy.
