Yup. Born and raised in Silk City.
Legit observed Fetty Wap when he was still buzzing before Trap Queen dropped but didn't meet him in person.
I grew up in Clifton, saw Fetty at a weird apartment party thing in Lodi and it turned out to be a video shoot right before Trap Queen dropped

I heard about that!
Crazy how so many people from Paterson and Passaic are moving to Clifton.
It had a rep for being White suburbia when I was growing up but that's no longer the case...lol.
The night that the g unit album leaked at the same time as the black album was still the craziest leak day I've ever seen on any hip hop site
God damn b**** how long you been on the internet
These threads make me wish he got in the studio with Em and Dre and make a last album.

Travis might've surpassed this in 2020. Sony/PlayStation, Fortnite, McDonalds, Nike/Jordan, feel like I'm missing some.

Seriously dude got clowned to death just for signing olivia as a knockoff Ashanti after clowning ja for all his duets, just imagine the reaction if he released a flo rida album ๐๐๐๐๐
My cousins in Albania thought that 50 cent and Eminem were the biggest gangsters in the world. These dudes were huge outside North America
This thread is a gem. Reading through it really took me back. The early to mid 00โs was a very special time for music.
50 was a cultural phenom. He took the streets of NY to global success. Eminem was probably the only artist bigger than him at the time. Even my grandma knew lyrics to his songs. That man was inescapable. TBH I donโt even think Drake reached prime 50โs level of celebrity.
