Dude put out all these big budget singles with huge features like knedrick Lamar, dr dre and Alicia keys, Adam Levine and eminem and still couldn't even get a release date for street king immortal
Biggest fall off ever and anyone who disagrees is ill informed on 50 cents failures post Curtis 😂😂😂
He was blackballed by dre and jimmy for starting his own headphone company, thats why he couldnt get a release date. Dont get it twisted
Nah 50 knew to leave when s*** wasnt hot anymore (50 was still dropping good music but the people didnt want to hear it anymore)
Thats not a fall off that just smart

He was backballed since before curtis dropped, because of his clash with jimmy and interscope. He even called the label trash on the set of amusement park
50 cent never been versatile you re right about that
But the perception of "gangster rap is dead" came from his sales battle with kanye, which paid off for him in the short run but in the big picture really wrecked his career. That and the game really brought a heavy backlash on g unit as a brand as he made a large amount of ppl view them as fake and corny, that combined with becoming hated by many fantasies because of how 50 moved like a super villain and beefed with/clowned on every one else's sales
So yeah you right it was a built up avalanche that was mostly self inflicted from him walking around like a super villain/god during his time on top. Must ve stung hard when he had to completely drop his go to brags of album sales and eventually wven money when bankruptcy came knocking
Nobody ever looked at gunit as fake nor corny 😂, you can say people hated them because they were the biggest thing on the planet but when it came to that street s*** nobody not even game wanted issues with them. Everything he said about gunit was false anyway the same nigga dissing was the same nigga who wanted to rejoin 😂
Mad at me, i think i know why
NIGGA YOU A WINDOW SHOPPER AT THE JEWERLY STORE LOOKI AT S*** YOU CANT BUY

Its a fall off if you go from being number one to ppl not checking for your latest single even if it has star stuffed features lol

Bro those blockbuster singles got released some even got music vids, and they went NOWHERE which means he had no momentum whatsoever to get a release date. Its been that way since the beginning of time, it even happened with Curtis where he was bricking left and right with lead singles till I get money bailed him out

Thats every artist from way back when 50 just knew when to stop
technically it was Michael jackson
how do you from this
to this trash
Nah ram Invincible wasn’t great but objectively it wasn’t bad. Plus Invincible still sold 10m plus worldwide

So in a time when label backing is very important (the early 2000s) you need marketing dollars and promotion without it your s*** is not moving , you dont think that plays a part in the fall off of 50 cent musically?.
Jimmy begged 50 to stop dropping free mixtape s***, 50 didn't listen so interscope paid him back for it no album support and he still sold 700k first week.
50 has material that'll last him forever and beyond, he didn't have to/prolly want to stay that hot in music because it wasn't necessary

I'll def agree it played a part, he got so carried away he bit the hand that fed him and thought he could get away with it you right about that
But his fall from grace as far as brand name made it a whole lot easier for Jimmy to say "fuck off" at that point when he acted up. Remember when he tried to prove Jimmy wrong with Animal Ambition? Didn't work out to well for 50 and we haven't heard from him in the mainstream since
i cant think of anyone else who had a worse fall off quality and quantity wise at the same time
fetty wap was never at the level 50 was
to be the biggest fall off ever you need to be one of the biggest stars ever
Precisely

Yup I remember thinking 50 might have a big comeback, but alas no
People acting like 50 just decided to go do other things as if his career didn’t display a downward trajectory album after album

Fr s***s weird

Yeah exactly, if it wasn’t for everything outside music he’d be like Nelly now

Nah you’re right but imagine if 50 would've took another major deal instead of going indie after leaving interscope i can guarantee you he would’ve moved 200 k at least first week
