People need to stop leaving the massacre out of the conversation
facts massacre got some hate when it first came out because it wasn’t GRODT but it aged really well, solid album
It was all good until Curtis. Then I feel like Buck started to carry the Unit when they all started selling less
Also Game put a major dent in G Unit with the G Unot s***.
A lot of fans left with him too. Young Buck was definitely a fan favorite. That Three Six ft was supposed to be his moment. It was, but very short lived and underlooked

Yeah, Banks turned GUnit records into 50 and Yayo pretty much
They kicked Buck out and that second G-Unit album was forgettable without him.
Tbh, the only real cash grab album was Curtis.
The Massacre was more diverse and versatile than GRODT. And the album cuts were really dope. Hell, Migos just remixed one of the cuts for Culture 3(Need It.)
TM gets underrated because the singles rollout was underwhelming. Candy Shop and Disco Inferno were ehhh. Just A Lil Bit was a slight improvement and Outta Control Remix was classic.
Candy Shop turned a lot of people off though, especially in rap.
Niggas hated Candy shop? Tf?
If you think rap is big in Spain, you haven't been here or you only hanged at places for tourists lol
Spain is a pop/reggaeton country, Kanye is Kim's crazy husband and Jay is Beyoncé husband. Travis is the guy from fornite, Snoop the guy who smokes weed 24/7, and the only Drake song I've heard here was In My Feelings.
Hella reggaeton vids with almost a billion views on YT as well

Not the general public or casuals but hip hop heads disliked that song and Lollipop by Weezy with a passion and saw them both as sellout radio songs.
I personally never had an issue with the song at all but it didn't help when 50's rivals like Jada and Game clowned him for making the track.

yeah when the song first came out a lot of hip hop heads were saying wtf is this soft ass s***
it was a major hit tho

Million sales in 3 days and they say 50 fell off after GRODT
DMX was the biggest rapper on the planet for a period of time
Still cant believe hes gone

Spain consumes so much reggaeton, and America obviously
Still cant believe hes gone
it feels like how Kobe felt. can't even fully process it as the truth
The good music was fire on massacre but he was trying so hard on a lot of s*** .
Disco inferno hook 🤣
