    @youngtubesteak
Honestly, when the police here would act out, I didn’t see Nigerians nor talk with them about the police brutality. During that time, I was around em. Now when it’s in their land (understandable) they’re bringing awareness.
Not to say their support for us doesn’t exist but in my area, I simply haven’t seen it.
My main point was and still is:
It’s unfortunate because it’s not like here where it’s racist cops. It’s their own kin smh.
Their issue is power where as ours is systemic genocide

This post makes no sense, just cause u didnt see any Nigerians talk about it, means that Nigerians dont care ?

and the fact that u said u didnt even talk to any one of them about it and still saying that is crazy

What I’m saying is being around em, there was 0 dialogue about it. It was strictly Covid talk. When the topic of police brutality was brought up, it was one sided. Then we’d talk about sports n back to Covid. Being down at the protests, I saw two of my young brothas but they’re from East Africa. I’ve noticed more East Africans are passionate about these topics. The Nigerians circle I know, were pm quiet until now. Maybe this will bring us as the people together but idk.

    Praying for Nigeria
we should be out in the streets too... unfortunately we're too desensitized to violence and injustice when it's outside of our western bubble...

U cant use anecdotes to generalize a whole entire ethnic group. That's what some of these racist white people do to black people

    And ur forgetting about this

And there's legit Nigerian americans on this website that was and were still vocal bout the BLM protest here

Igh.. so let’s see the link.. the screenshot.. it’s nowhere on twitter (something like that would have atleast circles Stan twitter) and the only ppl related to her team is posting s*** line this:

    mobile.twitter.com/ThePopTingz/status/1318551617675939840

    mobile.twitter.com/freeishmedia/status/1318899491219468289/photo/1

She was working to make sure she could offer more than a hashtag when she did in fact post. Which has been her standard for everything. She organizes behind the scenes and then speaks and directs others to where they can help too

In nigeria theres something know as the
Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) pretty much supposed to do what its name states. Protect people from robberies and all that, they're pretty much the police

But nigeria is super corrupt, so it's pretty much the same as here where these officers abuse their power, beaten civilians, force them to withdraw money out the bank for them, kill them, etc

Last night I think they killed 12 people in Lagos after peaceful protests

she never just opens her mouth without something to bring to the table. She’s always been that way. She didn’t tweet about Trayvon Martin, she went out and marched in 2012, b4 it became ‘trendy’.
She didn’t get on IG Live about BLM, she talked to politicians, legislators, attorney generals

she was never one to just make hashtag statement to ‘spread awareness’ without a plan and a TANGIBLE behind it. It’s always been this way. Expecting her to act out of character Is dumb

They didn’t care when it was us.
There’s a spiritual battle that’s taking place here. War of the Aboriginal Americans, African Americans, Black Europeans, West/South Africans vs the world. Until those that are being killed unite together, they’ll continue to suffer.

    spiritual battle?

“ her team heavily implied she didn't even want to do it” - Do what.. address the political and violent hysteria in Nigeria? That’s not true

    mobile.twitter.com/callmedunsin/status/1318954445519159299

Her people were going after the attacks, assumption and critics of her supposed ‘silence’ because they want to control when and how these celebrities speak and the way they move. if she would have spoke sooner, they’d call her twitter fingers or say that so and so did it first. Meanwhile history shows that Beyonce has always silently dotted her i’s and crossing her t’s until the right time. She went at the DA and wrote letters to legislators not tweet #justiceforbreonna
She opened up her purse for furgerson protesters not get on love about BLM.. she marched 4 trayvon w/having to say she supported him

When she does speak you better believe that her reach has also provided tools, coin resources and ppl in place to make positive change..

You're derailing your own thread! You’re trying to make a point and argue about something that I already validated smh. You’re lacking comprehension.

    1. On pg 2 I said:
Not to say their support for us doesn’t exist but in my area, I simply haven’t seen it.

After I clarified my post with talking about my area, you still went on this bs about me generalizing every single person. When I clearly said

Not to say their support for us doesn’t exist but in my area, I simply haven’t seen it.

While trying to take away from my main point of
It’s unfortunate because it’s not like here where it’s racist cops. It’s their own kin smh.
