I remember hearing Rose Clique like in my freshman or sophomore year of high school and checking out some more songs, after that I failed to keep up with him until Victory Lap came out. I listened to it and I was blown away by the whole project, I really started to get into his whole discography and reading about the work he did in his community. I was really looking forward to see what Nip was gonna do next and what moves he was gonna make, I still remember when it happened and I was hoping it was a hoax and then it turned out to be true.
I couldnt listen to him for a while because it made me too sad to think about what could have been. Nipsey really is the blueprint for how rappers should move and how you can make a postive impact on your community even if you come from the streets
