also how he descends down the stairs like he’s on the path to hell, his body tries to make him repent and the vision is like a last resort but nothing will stop his evil. He’s on his set path. Then the credits sound hellish too. That ending is super impactful

Yeah I definitely will. Really slow movies where it feels like “nothing happens” always feel special to me if they don’t bore me, I feel like that’s hard to pull off….cus essentially you should feel bored with something like this, but I was engaged the whole time.

I read that it’s only approx. 15 minutes long in total. Wild how such little time is spread throughout and leaves such a big impact. What’d you think of the scene focusing on the flowers and the screen turning red?

I like script shadow, I think they give good advice on screenwriting but I seen them critiquing this saying “writers must do cause and effect, not effect and cause….in the film they show him go to the doctor and then later throw up, this isn’t impactful to us because they showed the scenes backwards….it would’ve worked better if it showed him throw up and then after as a result went to the doctor”
