Ok, Iāll put it like this: Is it possible that some voters might have wanted to give it a little extra love because it has an Asian cast? Yes. Do I think that thatās why it won? No. Do I think that the voters banded together to agree upon a narrative? No.
This is the way I feel, cause it feels the most congruent with A. What I think is realistic and B. What the other award shows, critical response, and word of mouth have told us.

I will consider watching it but this like what I said weeks ago . Even on a basic level they are all different genres of film being compared so genre or topic bias will exist . What is accessible. I think about that before a ā they did this to correct Oscarās so white ā especially considering Curtis winning made no sense to me . No. It was laughable that The Big Lebowski didnāt get any acting noms. Going with the second tier choice (which is excellent and shows a lot of range in its own right) over Cate Blanchett isnāt the correct decision, but if we were ranking Oscar f*** ups throughout history, it would rank very low.
