So basically this s*** is a high action crazy visual movie with life affirming themes that hit you emotionally. Sounds like every great movie rolled into one.

In terms of user reviews yeah it gets a s*** ton in relation to other sites where you can mark down ratings. It’s several times larger than a RYM or something like that

Big films rack hundreds of thousands of reviews and some films hit a bit over a million. The Batman for example came out a month ago, and has 630K viewers, 550k of which who rated it. Indies of course wouldn’t get nearly as much.

I've been using Letterboxd since like 2014 I'm just saying I have no clue what the top films on there are. It's always going to be contemporary s*** as their userbase grows as well as like IMDB 250 standards

it's like maybe an hour and 40 min into the movie? About 30 min before the end if i were to use my best estimate

Ohh.. i mean its not really a list worth eyeballing but i notice the small crown shaped button on the film pages sometimes and it was hard for me to miss the "1" when i clicked on this one randomly. Its just a list a user made and updates that the site incorporated

IMDB has a crazy amount of users but very few actually rate films. Letterboxd definitely gets as many if not more user reviews for films these days. A lot of recent films might enter a top list for a bit then free fall out but this is easily staying

Letterboxd reviews are mostly just tweet length like pandering comments.
