i use it to keep track of what i watch, and find new movies to watch. for that it is quite useful in the same way RYM is...i agree many of its popular users are garbage and most of the time the top reviews on a movie are dumb 1 liners...but you can find decent reviewers, or just follow ur friends....its not that serious

I use Letterboxd all the time I'm just saying as social media it's totally broken. Low effort content hides anything worth reading, the timeline is purposefully diluted without a subscription, it's difficult to even talk to people, etc.

maybe thats true, i pay the 20 bucks a year so i forgot what it looked like before...block liberally...i don't really want to talk to people on it, does what i need very well.
