Whatsoever. This is almost anti-pretentious despite how long the second half is.

They give any concrete reasons why. I haven’t seen any reasons why fans of the movie like it that isn’t equally hyperbolic.

The film maker mfs I live with seem to think the use of the multiverse convention was like an overly convoluted story telling mechanism to tell a pretty pedestrian domestic family type story I think 🤷‍♀️ Honestly trying to summarise as best I can to do justice to their take we talked about it for like 3 hours & I found their points pretty incoherent lol but yeah “shooting a fly with a canon”
