True as f***. So eerie
U know what the reactions are going to be to this thread... just let her rest in piece
“Piece”
The aesthetics and art style for her last album it’s probably some of the greatest stuff I’ve ever seen. Some people try so hard with their album covers, aesthetics and such but yet the cover is so simple and beautiful at the same time.
That self titled cover is an all timer for me
aaliyah’s albums not being on streaming is why no one my age (19) has heard of her
you gotta be living under a rock to have never heard of her at 19 tho

i graduated this year man. no one knows who she is it’s sad
great album but this aint nowhere close to thriller nigga
21st century Thriller,Every single released was a hit bro.
It’s a got damn shame, her uncle should be ashamed of himself holding such a beautiful piece of music history hostage.
He's probably ashamed of letting r Kelly (then 24) around her at 12 years-old ...
Her uncle was also r. Kelly's manager in the 90s....

I don’t blame him for feeling guilt at all but I think it’s bout time for the public to hear the OG masters on One In A Million and her self titled.
