If you worked on an album for 8 years it should be apparent that 8 years of work went into it

Blonde and black messiah are good examples of this, even though I know black messiah wasn’t a 14 year project

The artist decided to put a much higher expectation on themselves… I didn’t do that. Rocky himself decided this needed 8 years of work on it. So I’m gonna judge it based on how much work he put into it. And tbh it’s not that indistinguishable from testing. A bunch of the singles are better than the album tracks. The promised collaborations for this album most of which got scrapped and are no longer here.

If he just dropped this s*** without bloating the expectation I’d probably have enjoyed it more
