He was moreso focused on experimenting with sounds and like misdirection in songs and stuff to create a fun trippy experience. That's been his thing for almost a decade now so I kinda expected it and I feel like this is the best he has ever pulled it off

He’s had moments of great lyricism but that’s never been his bag
His main draw as a rapper has ALWAYS been his charisma, flow, and delivery
Saying a Rocky album doesn’t have crazy bars in 2026 is like… okay? That’s kinda always been the appeal
I already said rocky has never really been a rapper rapper and ofc no one expecting some crazy technical skill but its just been a noticeable step down since ALLA. You're pretty much agreeing with me with this post lol

I feel like the point is getting misconstrued
I’m NOT. Saying Rocky was supposed to make this masterful rapping display on this album.
To be clear my expectations were low and I expected the Memphis/Babushka/. Kevin Klash sound to be the main driver of the album.
