    Rocky definitely had an era

    Cole coming out on top overall when the dust settles because he's a way better rapper and he's still relevant in 2023 but Rocky being a better artist than Cole, at least at his best, is definitely not a controversial take lol

    Ya I guess that’s my whole issue with the statement in OP like nobody is denying Rocky was a very important rapper of his time and still gets love to this day but he has no relevancy as of now other than being Rihanna’s baby daddy lol maybe if he dropped some music that would change but we won’t know until he does

    It's just corny raps over the craziest beats ever

    S*** still sounds ahead of its time while you can 100% tell Rocky was part of that 2010s tumblr rap era which was endearing but mostly corny in retrospect

    That said "Peso" is timeless, as is "Wassup" and "Pretty Flacko"

    I might be tripping a lil but I think Rocky is the Cam of his generation and I mean that in the best way possible

    Will be remembered as a nigga who maybe wasnt one of the top most lyrically talented or deep of his generation but is one of the most iconic, flyest fits, classic and influential music, great flows and charisma

    It’s gon take some time but yeah he will be remembered as such.

    Factoring in influence, popularity, and creative peaks together, I can't see how you could even argue against this

    If your looking at it objectively then Cole replaces Rocky

    Rocky may have fashion influence but Cole beats him in longevity

    I just mean Cam was out at the same time as Hov, Nas, Em etc so he wasnt considered a top lyricist of his time but he still is one of the most legendary from his era

    Yes in comparison to Hov, Nas, Em he def is viewed as a less talented lyricist than some rappers from his generation but still just as iconic and legendary
