I remember a Noisey back and forth with Rocky & Snoop about 13 years ago and Snoop warning Rocky to ditch all these hanger onners before they drag him down
"Rocky's mother and sister are in court today.
Judge Arnold asked him who the new people are in his section and he said, "That's my mother and my sister."
"You can't tell, right, which one's the mom?" Rocky's lawyer Joe Tacopina said.

Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge Mark S. Arnold to A$AP Rocky's mother:
"You must have had him when you were about 7?"
Rocky's mother tells the judge she was 26.
"You are very beautiful. That's on the record," Judge Arnold says.
Rocky's lawyers again took issue with the racial makeup of the jury pool. (Of 106 people, five are Black.)
Tacopina says there could well be no Black jurors on case.
"We're in downtown Los Angeles. Not a small town in Montana. We're troubled by that to say the least."

He looks like a goofball too.
But he was Trump's personal lawyer and considered to be one of the "greatest defense attorneys of all time", according to The New York Times.

The plea deal looks good but it's lowkey a trap.
If he violates his probation, the judge might put heavier restrictions on him or make him do the whole 7 years depending on the severity.
Being good for 3 years is hard for a rapper. It makes it even harder if he gets a crazy restriction like he can't be associated with felons.
If he beats it, then he doesn't need to go through any of that.
Tbf rocky has never gotten into any other real legal trouble though so i don't think it would be too hard to follow those guidelines

thats the goal, make everyone laugh so they forget about the crime

So supposedly the gun that was used was never found by police, they couldn't find any shell casings at the scene, and the only casings they have were given by Relli, however none of the casings have any fingerprints on them. It seems the only evidence they're banking on is a video of a figure in a hoodie and no visible face holding a gun.
Now I'll say this, I do actually think Rocky was doing some dumb s*** and shot at that nigga. I don't doubt that they got into some dumbass Harlem nigga s*** and where a gun was present/involved and somebody ended up slightly grazed when it went off. All that being said, it's on Relli and his lawyers to prove Rocky did it beyond a reasonable doubt. With the evidence they have, I just don't think that's really enough to prove his guilt. Not having a gun or fingerprints on the casings is probably what's gonna sink this. We'll see though.
