Production was too dark and trap-oriented for my taste, didn’t fit him well imo

Nah I thought it fit him well, plus the mixing is some of the best I heard on a rap album lowkey

I respect that, but his songs like this new freestyle are where he really shines

In fact Soulo delayed DWTW because wanted to perfect the mixes and had little bit of conflict with Ali, no wonder the album sounds fantastic

All of Ali’s mixing is fantastic to me. You can hear the difference with YG and Danny Brown when he mixed them down as well.
