since i mostly work with soul chops
i dont even care if i learn drums 808s that crazy
i just wanna chop more better
ableton goated for slice to new midi track
make your own custom drumrack and boom

uhh you can google / torrent splice packs
i torrented so many but i get mine through a private tracker that has a splice page. i rarely use it tho
funny tho cause in the video i just used malay samples from his splice kit
get yourself a push 2 once you figure out ableton

not to rely on samples alot since i do that now alot
making dance music is fun asf
and yeah i dont really use samples anymore. i prefer making my sounds/melodies/chords from scratch.

I use some scripts on my launchpad to make it more push like and then there’s a script i use so my machine works better with ableton
i’ve never felt like there were features that are missing on the push 2 tho
gonna have to see what stuff you can do tho

it’s not a bad way to test it out some but yeah long term the track limits is too much
you can always upgrade to standard tho later on with a lite license and save $120
