Should I play one then two? Or just skip to the second one? I’ve always only ever heard praise for 2
🙏🏻 Very excited to play either way
playing 1 for the first time as well, just got to hercules world
How’s it holding up? Been fun?

basically just release order

there are some elements that feel super dated for sure, but the combat is solid (kind of crazy that this is the beginning of the ff7r combat system) and i'm a sucker for the early 2000's very emotional anime style so ive been having fun

Yeah I’ve had a few people mention I should start with 1 in the past few minutes so I’m diving in now

all games are on sale rn on the ps store for $25 btw
I tried replaying the first one and I was frustrated with the controls lmfao. Still a decent game. I enjoyed the second more then the first.
And re:chains I played on the gameboy so I feel my opinion on that doesn’t hold up.
How many games do you have? All of them?
Got the kingdom hearts 1.5 + 2.5 remix from playstation for $12 Started with 1 for now, was thinking of going to 2 and then BBS after

First one is feeling a bit clunky but I'm still it enjoying it a good deal because of all the other elements luckily. Really excited to get to 2
I get that BBS is a prequel but can anyone explain what the other games are
Spin-offs/indirect sequels. Because all of them contribute to the main story.
playing 1 for the first time as well, just got to hercules world
Cerberus is a b**** to fight with no health bar for enemies
Play the first two and just skip the rest of the series tbh
1 is cool but 2 is a top 10 video game for me
it’s the perfect pinnacle between nonsensical kh s***, ff characters, and a dream like tone
1st one feels like a bad dream but 2 is something way deeper. it’s enchanting the first time you go through it, the prologue really sticks with you esp if you don’t know anything going into it.
but story ia such a small fragment for me now that i’m older. the vibes in first two are still artistic but story falls kinda flat if you take it serious in the slightest way.
but the combat system man my god. feels like 2 can rival ff7 remake and dmc 3 combat its fr one of the most finely tuned real time combat systems OAT. designers deserve awards for what they did in this game. i’ve been playing since i was in the 4th grade and i can promise you i still find new strategies when replaying that game.
2 is magic in video game form. the rest....
but many will disagree. i hope you come to love it tho it’s a fascinating piece of art that’s really unique in every possible way
remind solidified it as the goat
i need to play tbh but i’ve been feeling for dlc to be on sale. i need those org 13 data fights
