amory1 is cool but 2 is a top 10 video game for me
it’s the perfect pinnacle between nonsensical kh s***, ff characters, and a dream like tone
1st one feels like a bad dream but 2 is something way deeper. it’s enchanting the first time you go through it, the prologue really sticks with you esp if you don’t know anything going into it.
but story ia such a small fragment for me now that i’m older. the vibes in first two are still artistic but story falls kinda flat if you take it serious in the slightest way.
but the combat system man my god. feels like 2 can rival ff7 remake and dmc 3 combat its fr one of the most finely tuned real time combat systems OAT. designers deserve awards for what they did in this game. i’ve been playing since i was in the 4th grade and i can promise you i still find new strategies when replaying that game.
2 is magic in video game form. the rest....
but many will disagree. i hope you come to love it tho it’s a fascinating piece of art that’s really unique in every possible way

it’s fr like a dream
you don’t know you’re in a dream when you i it
but when you out of it you know you talking about a crazy ass dream u feel me?the 365 movie is so beautiful, it carries on the vibes of the prologue from 2 but goes all the way with it. beautiful little pocket story
after 2 the story goes into star wars territory where it tries to make it more massive but it doesn’t wanna let go of its past motifs. trying too hard to make sense out of all the nonsensical elements
3 is purely for gameplay and even gameplay can be a mixed bag.
it’s one of the greatest video game series just bc it’s so diverse. even tho i feel this way dude could end up loving bbs and dream drop way more
if you just ride the vibes you really in for a treat

play them in release order
i never played chain of memories only pre’d the movie.
try each game in release order. if you don’t like the first 6-10 hours of the game it’s probably not for you
if you don’t like it and wanna keep up with story for the next game you try/play, watch the movie on youtube ik a lot of ppl upload the cutscenes and gameplay
tbh if u don’t like the gameplay 6-10 hours deep in any of them they’re prob not for u but maybe someone can argue for sticking with whatever game their favorite is
