ab-soul did his best to ruin "peace"
doeburger, punch and lupe saved it tho
pretty sure the doe vocals on this are just soul using doe's voice with ai or some s***
whoever let soul come near the bucko jr beat is out of their mind
this album reeks of out of touch oldheads (dj hed, punch, top) telling soul these are “bangers”
Am I crazy or does Righteous Man sample the outro instrumental of Hood Politics by Kendrick Lamar? it's sounds eerily similar to it

like wtf are they thinking with this ty$ track
Hot take but I actually f***ed with These Days tbh I got the signed CD too lmao
yea i remember when these days came out, i thought it was fire
but it's been years since ive listened to it
Yeah idk man
prepared for a lot of people to miss the concept of the album and pretend like he didn’t mention it multiple times already
Is it really mid? Y’all scaring me itt. I thought Herbert was a sign that Ab-Soul was back on his way to consistency again like the LT 1/2 & Control System days

What’s the concept? Haven’t listened yet but Idc about concept spoilers for music
Yeah but his intention with this album was making something more accessible
I wanna see him win so bad but idk if this album will do it
Didn’t Herbert not even chart on billboard in it’s first week? Makes sense he’s going more mainstream given how low he sold and I’m all for Soul getting a new broader audience just as long as it doesn’t get in the way of his top tier pen and high concept track ideas

Yeah I don't mind him trying to go more mainstream but the execution could've been better, idk if this album will do much more than what Herbert did

The "concept" is basically how Doe Burger always used to tell him that he needs to make more mainstream music if he wants to get "paid" which is why on the intro he says "biggest lie I ever told is that it's not about the money" and on Peace he uses Doe Burger's voice which tells him to not worry about him and to "get paid"
Idk it's maybe deeper than that
I just feel like the execution could've been better because I don't see this album doing much for him commercially hopefully I'm wrong tho

!https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iIsHg3BHpB0It's a live version of how much a dollar cost. Can hear the crowd in the sample
Lol ofc the Blxst track is a modern take on 90s classic
It’s becoming bro’s signature

this was always my worry when heds been the only one saying the album is straight bangers
