he has to realize that the mainstream trap banger lane is something he will never be able to excel inGive doechii a verse on that one song, maybe take the 1 minute skit off the song with the vince feature, get a sza feature or something, keep working with spitters like JID that alr have buzz,
dominate what ur good at that mad people make money off of which is being a versatile spitter that appeals to the more artsy crowd bro wow people by honing in on the things people like about you and knowing the lane you excel inSoulo suffers from going too far left sometimes yea but if thats the case you can do that in a more acessible manner consistently, if u wanna make banger songs too sure but someone like JID can do that without sounding like hes reaching for an old traditional goal. Like you can do that without also going so far off in the other direction it sounds like ur reaching

The album isn't really even all that bad tbh lol I think the reason why we trounced it harshly back in 2014 was because Ab-Soul set the bar so unbelievably high with Control System that when we found out it wasn't better or on the same level as CS, it soured our first listening experience
Twact & Sapiosexual are still atrocious songs on it lol
Also that Rick Ross feature felt super out of place on an Ab-Soul album

Very solid entry into his discography.
