This just confirms my guy is Uncle Aaron and live action Miles is incoming, right? lol
Give me a post credit scene of live action Miles bumping into Tom’s Peter in the next movie
Could preface it with an in movie Easter egg of them jumping into Tom’s universe for a second

Alright, so pretty much, I have a slight suspicion that the Miguel we're introduced to (I'll call him Miguel 2) is actually a Prowler in his original universe. This is all fun speculation and I’m sure everything isn’t correct.

Initially, I thought it was odd that I never noticed him being introduced with a comic strip/sequence in consistency with every other major Spider-Man in the film outside of just his own comic in that visual pile. We later see at the HQ display the comic strip related to the death of Miguel 1, but never details leading into that end cover of his Spider-Man comic. It’s interrupted and given no detail. Possibly comedic of course, but still.

Moving on to his presented "backstory" from Spider-Society HQ scenes: I believe that Miguel 2 (a Prowler or non-Spider-Man) was brought into another world where Miguel 1 (2099) had the life he wanted. Miguel 2 kills Miguel 1, and makes an attempt to be 2099 moving forward. This occurred subsequent to the Alchemex test runs which introduced us into the many Spider-Men in the first film.

So why do things go wrong? Because Miguel 2 (a Prowler) killed the Spider-Man 2099 of that universe (Miguel 1), that Spider-Man could not prevent the in-universe Alchemex canon event from taking place, causing the destruction of that world. We'd now have to understand what the "canon" could mean, as I now see it as a time-space disruption that displaces everything except the anomaly (Miguel 2, now "2099") and destroys/undoes all else.

Other minor clues and details: physical demeanor and aggression between a Prowler and Miguel 2, body language, hanging arms/posture during attacks, identical claw marks on the train (present in BOTH films during interactions with Miles). There's a very on-the-nose quip by Miles, which he asks "You have claws? Are you even Spider-Man?" We never see Miguel even swing using his "webs", instead, he lunges and uses grapples to animalistically get around. In his first on-screen appearance against Vulture, he doesn't even have an active spider sense (could be for the comedic attack launched, but still).

Parallel with the ending of Across the Spider-Verse: Miguel 2 wanted to replace Miguel 1 because of his better life in the same way that Miles 42 might want to replace Miles.

I think Miguel 2 realized that Miles has the chance to actually change something and either wants it for himself or simply wants nobody else to have/do what he could not.

    Schizo post over.

I thought spider 2099 is the guy who was supposed to be bitten by the spider that bit miles if it hadn’t been taken from his world. He seemed awfully passionate laying into miles about being a mistake and not being meant to be who he is

After learning that he’s using technology to emulate spider man but isn’t actually one (claws to climb, weird laser webs, tech suit). Idk about the vampire bit tho

    Possibly

I mean his nephew in the MCU hasn’t been confirmed to be Miles technically

& if it is, it wouldn’t be Sonys Miles

& also idk how Sony Miles would even crossover into the MCU without being animated since we see characters don’t change when traveling different universes

Maybe he’s not a straight up villain

    Anti-hero

I’m sure he’ll become an ally / help Miles

Nah Miles’s spider was about to bite Miles 42 (prowler at the end) but went to 1610 miles instead

It doesn’t have to be the animated Sony Miles, like if they crossover into the MCU for a second in film, it would still be animated Miles. But in the hypothetical post credit scene it would just be its own thing within that universe to set up a live action Miles movie.

Finally going to see this a 2nd time since the week it released

Also, just had a thought after reading above posts. We as the viewer of the film see the characters from different universes in different styles and different styles of animation to be exact.

But what about from the viewpoint of the character themselves? Do they perceive the form of other characters or people that have crossed into their universe in the style of what ALL other humans/beings/characters within their set stylistic universe looks like?

Say, if we get a live action 1610 Miles film. Would 1610 Miles perceive himself and the characters in his universe different now? In a multiversal film like this, would/should such a character be so aware of ones self and the universe around him?

I feel smart and dumb at the same time rn. This some high ass thoughts, even though I'm sober.

Well, seen it again yesterday, and it actually answered my far out question within like the first 10 minutes when Vulture from another dimension shows up and Gwen makes remarks about his appearance being different from her Vulture, and even points out his 'paper' look.
