His style is still based on standard 90's boom bap in its core, he builds all of his s*** with that structure

So on a pure musical level that's what he's limited to. A niche artist.

Nobody denies that he's a super gifted writer, but I wish he dropped the deity persona. And stopped reminding me that he's signed to The ROC every 2 mins, I get it.

    Why are you lying

If he dropped a pure mature introspective project with no gimmicks and preaching, and no Travis Scott feats.. it'd be his best s*** to me

    Act 2 literally just leaked

Not gonna lie brother you've had some really really bad takes on this thread, including this one here. I'm a big Nas fan btw

    I'll rely properly later

Being a Nas fan doesn't change anything tbh, you still have the right to disagree but respect it as my opinion.

Although I've been paying close attention to Jay E for a very long time, I'm always open to having my views challenged, so feel free.

I'm letting you know I like Nas' music so that you know I'm not saying what I'm saying because I love Jay Elec etc

    Illmatic
    It Was Written
    The Lost Tapes
    Stillmatic
    God's Son
    Life Is Good
    King's Disease

These are his best albums imo, btw I'm still waiting for him to say something about Jay's albums bc he was always one of his biggest supporters ("Nas hit me up on the phone like..").

Yeah, those are pretty much my favorite Nas albums as well. I think Hip Hop Is Dead is so underrated, I would personally rank it ahead of King's Disease.

I think overall they're pretty different writers with different traits from one another that makes them great

Edit: and theres no credible source on jay abusing Kate, other than the daily mail (not reliable at all)
