    i knew this about ADHD & Autism, and their correlation with putting kids in the “gifted” program, but i didn’t know OCD was part of this group until recently. the three comprise a 2-Dimensional spectrum of symptoms, and basically, your diagnosis as any of them is based on which symptoms you experience.

    and, of course, each of those three disorders have extremely wide spectrums within themselves as well. Hyperactive/Inattentive/both subtypes for ADHD, Pure Obsession/Perfectionism/Harm/Contamination/Relationship/False Memory/etc subtypes for OCD, and Social/Developmental/Moderate/Broadly Affected ASD

    Yep I see a lot of overlap working with this population. It's kind of wild how it can be difficult to get the full comorbid diagnosis' though.
