I think it’s different because when our age group watched South Park, it was presented as entertainment, a show. With all these streamers and influencers, their audience has a more “personal” relationship with them as if they’re actually their friends.

Like these kids will watch Adin basically live life for hours a day, thus they have a stronger connection to him and are more likely to be influenced more strongly.

    I don’t think it’s any different man

South Park could’ve been seen as a voice and it often was a voice considering nearly every episode had a monologue about the message of the episode. And kids would watch multiple episodes of it every day and spend hours as well. It’s the same s***. With that said, Adin Ross definitely goes further than South Park ever did but that’s just our culture. Simpsons is tame compared to family guy which is tame compared to South Park. We’re always trying to push the boundaries but the consequences of that is leading to an extremely desensitized society that is now trying to over correct itself with sensitive ass liberals preaching cancel culture which just leads to extremes on both sides.
