Which yall rocking with? I hear a lot of similar sounds in both albums and they both have a cinematic vibe to them, listening to after hours reminds me a bit of kiss land.

this is tough because trilogy and kiss land were so formative in my life that I don't think anything could ever top the personal value. that being said after hours is probably as close as possible, I f***ing love this album.

Let me be the first to say After Hours

Need way more time to digest After Hours to give an objective assessment, really.

I’d say After Hours expanded upon that atmospheric, showy, ‘film score’ Kiss Land attempted to be, but at the cost of surface level lyricism with stronger focus on grand production value.

Kiss Land gets the nod for nostalgia value too. Spent a whole summer of my formative adult years bumping that s***. Good times.

It’s very close but After Hours

Can’t ignore the fact that live for exists, there’s no low points like that on after hours

    Kiss Land

After Hours's vision is disrupted heavily by In Your Eyes & Save Your Tears, those two tracks are such generic-pop tunes and feel so incongruous to the projects sound up until that point

KL is unrelenting, it's only dip being Live For, production is great on AH but it has no moment quite as mind-bending as Kissland's beat switch or the second half of Tears In The Rain

Stop making me sweat with these complex questions!!!!

    But currently After Hours

  • Mar 24, 2020

After hours is the more complete experience for me. I find it to be more diverse but still just as cohesive as KL

  • Mar 24, 2020

    Kissland by far

  • Mar 24, 2020

Right now AH. Ask me again in a month

KL only has one mid track, AH has like 5
