AH has the higher highs and I think it’s his magnum opus cause he finally refined what he was trying to do his entire career. It’s the album that has the perfect dark cuts and pop cuts.

Dawn to me is also him fully perfected the pop side of his career and FINALLY sticking to a concept rather than presenting something and not executing it. (I.E Kiss Land and Starboy)

Both are his best albums and have their individual charm, literally night & day. He made an Opus and an amazing concept album back to back.

After Hours, but that is purely anchored by personal bias and the time in which it dropped - was a very crucial album for the phase in which my life was undergoing

Having said that, Dawn is just as good, it’s electric and shimmery and so pristine and it’s just like an explosive disco in your ear (maybe better produced than AF honestly)

He really went back2back classics on us and I appreciate the existence of both

Bc if you don’t like pop Weeknd there’s still a lot for you on AH to enjoy but Dawn FM is all pop

But if you like pop Weeknd Dawn FM HITSSSS

Dawn is the one for me rn, way more consistent

Yeah i’ve found that people who hated the pop stuff he’s done absolutely do not f*** with Dawn. I hate BBTM and don’t care for a lot of Starboy but he really refined his pop side a lot on Dawn and I love it
