Nic's headlining set at Rewire festival last year was lowkey the greatest gig I've ever been to (and I've seen some acts). P sure he played the EP cuts too, and some crazy other stuff... Extremely hype for the album

judging from the EP/the Mix/his set at Rewire, he's going into more of a deconstructed club/ experimental direction, less house. But what makes it AAL is that it's still dance music first and foremost, just crazy people dance music.

listened to the EP and Mix all day yesterday, so good

dunno if this was already widely seen by twigs fans but Time made a video about the MM title track and unsurprisingly she gives Jaar a lot of credit for bringing the song together and making some of the best parts (he appears in the video too and himself credits coffee for going crazy lol)

And he made a film about Walter Benjamin's Klee painting his taste is awesome. Hope that lands online some time. Visiting a seminar on Benjamin's prose by an Israeli professor in two weeks.... Benjamin's writing was at its absolute best describing the Angelus Novus.
